In my current position, I work as a Sr. Vice President – Mortgage Sales Manager for First Place Bank. I have been working in the banking industry since 1990 and have worked in the home lending area since 1991. I have been recognized by Mortgage Originator Magazine as one of the top 200 lenders in the country multiple times. In addition, I have been published and interviewed in LoanToolBox.com, LoanOfficerSeminars.com, The Scotsman Guide, Loan Officer Magazine, The Niche Report . I am a contributing writer and board member of Mortgage Currentcy. I am widely recognized as one of the top performing mortgage lenders in Western Michigan with several thousand clients over the last two decades.

I take a consultative approach to mortgage lending. My job is to understand your overall financial goals and to tailor a mortgage option that will best meet your goals. Personal
On a personal side, I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 1993. We have 5 beautiful children and reside in the Holland area. I was born in raised in Holland and have been in West Michigan my entire lifetime. As a life long lover of music, I have a background in commercial radio and still am featured on a prominent West Michigan radio station during most holiday weekends. I love to refer to myself as a tech loving nerd. If it has anything to do with technology, I love it.
My Lending Assistant
Diana Heddings is my lending assistant. Diana and I have worked together since the 1993. None of the success of my mortgage practice would be possible without her. Many of my clients will know Diana from my days with FMB-First Michigan Bank and Republic Bank. Diana works closely with me to document your loan for the final approval.
